Installing network components
1. Open the CONTROL PANEL. Double-click the NETWORK icon.
2. Click the ADD button.
3. Click CLIENT.
 
At the MANUFACTURERS section, select MICROSOFT;
At the right side, select CLIENT for MICROSOFT NETWORK.
Click OK.
4. Click ADAPTER.
 
At the MANUFACTURERS section, select MICROSOFT;
At the right side, select CLIENT for MICROSOFT DIALUP ADAPTER.
Click OK.
5. Click PROTOCOL.
 
At the MANUFACTURERS section, select MICROSOFT;
At the right side, select TCP/IP.
Click OK.
6. Highlight TCP/IP, select PROPERTIES.
 
Click the DNS CONFIGURATION tab.
Type anything on the Host text box. This is going to be the name of your host computer.
For the DOMAIN field, type mozcom.com.
Check the button for ENABLE DNS (optional; do not activate this if using more than one ISP). At the DNS SEARCH ORDER, add the following series of numbers in the proper sequence:
  202.47.132.1
202.47.132.6
Click OK.
7. Click OK until you exit the NETWORK icon. This will copy files from your Windows 95 installation CD or setup diskette to your hard disk..
8. Windows will then prompt you to restart your computer.

Installing dialup networking in Windows 95
The assumption is that the user has already installed the necessary network components in Windows 95. If not, proceed first to the section on Installing Network Components.

1. Go to the CONTROL PANEL. Double-click ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS.
2. Highlight COMMUNICATIONS. Click DETAILS. Another dialog box will pop up.
3. Check/Select DIALUP NETWORKING. This will create a DIALUP NETWORKING folder in the MY COMPUTER group.

Creating dialup numbers
You may create as many dialup icons as you want, one for each dialup number. You may also place these copies of these icons (shortcuts) on your Windows 95 Desktop.

1. From the DIALUP NETWORKING folder, double-click MAKE NEW CONNECTION.
2. Setup the autotrunk Dialup Numbers to connect to the BQLink MozCom server.
3. Type the title as "BQLink Internet <dialup number>" where <dialup number> is one of the numbers in our Dialup Numbers.
4. Verify if the proper modem is indicated in the MODEM field. If not, configure the correct modem you have installed.
5. Click the CONFIGURE button.
 
In the next dialog box, click the OPTION tab.
Select (check) the BRING UP TERMINAL WINDOW AFTER DIALING option.
Click OK until you return to the MAKE NEW CONNECTION dialog box.
Click NEXT.
6. Supply the AREA CODE (if necessary), the TELEPHONE NUMBER, and the COUNTRY CODE (set it to Philippines as "63"). Click NEXT.
7. Click FINISH. An icon will be created for the dialup number you just set up.
8. Highlight the icon, then right-click. Select the PROPERTIES command from the pop-up menu.
 
Deselect (clear) the USE COUNTRY CODE AND AREA CODE option.
Click OK.
9. Click on SERVER TYPE.
 
Deselect LOGON TO NETWORK.
Deselect USE ENCRYPTED PASSWORD.
Deselect NETBUI.
Deselect IPX/SPX.
10. Click on TCP/IP Settings.
 
Select Use Server Name Addresses.
At the PRIMARY DNS, type 202.47.132.1.
For the SECONDARY DNS, type 202.47.132.6.
11. Keep clicking OK until you close the dialog boxes for that dial-up number.

Connecting to the MosNet server (mozcom.com)
Make sure that your modem has been properly set up in Windows 95 and that it is already connected to a telephone line.

1. Double-click the shortcut icon of any of the dialup numbers. If you don't have the shortcut on your Desktop:
 
Open the MY COMPUTER folder.
Double-click the DIALUP NETWORKING folder.
Double-click any of the dialup numbers that have been set up.
2. The CONNECT TO dialog box will be displayed. Click CONNECT.
3. The POST-DIAL TERMINAL screen will be displayed asking for your USERNAME and PASSWORD. Type these items as needed.
4. If the supplied items are correct, the "peak>" prompt will be displayed. When this prompt appears, type PPP and press [Enter].
5. Garbage characters will be displayed and then a message informing you of the IP Address that is assigned to you for this session. Click the CONTINUE button or press [F7].
6. The system will then verify your USERNAME (USER-ID) and PASSWORD. If they are valid, you will be connected. A dialog box will pop up to inform you when the connection occurs.
